About Us
Breaking down barriers — empowering intimacy with God and each other
Our Mission
Empowering People to Grow
Shinnecock Revival Center boldly breaks down barriers by empowering people to grow in their intimacy with God and each other through confident worship, Bible study, community and service-minded outreach programs, and personal growth plans.
What We Believe
The foundational beliefs that guide our faith, our worship, and our life together as a community.
The Authority of Scripture
The Bible, both the Old and New Testament, is the only infallible authority concerning God, His Word, His principles, and His deeds which were revealed to the writers by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. [II Tim. 3:16; II Pet. 1:21]
One God — Three Persons
There is One God who is omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent, and is revealed by the three distinct persons of the Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. [Deut. 6:4; Matt. 28:19; I Cor. 8:6]
Jesus Christ — God Manifest
Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh, proven by His virgin birth, sinless life, sacrificial atoning death, His defeat of darkness, His bodily resurrection, and His ascension to the right hand of the Father. [Luke 1:26-38; Heb. 4:15; Col. 2:15; Col. 3:1]
Christ Is Lord
Jesus Christ is absolute Lord over all things because of what He has done. [Phil. 2:6-11; Heb. 1:4]
Salvation Through Christ Alone
The only means of Salvation from eternal damnation and to life eternal with God is accepting Jesus as both Lord and Savior. In accepting Jesus, an individual's spirit is born of God by the regenerative power of the Holy Spirit. [Rom. 10:9-10; Acts 4:12; John 3:3-8; II Cor. 5:17]
The Baptism of the Holy Spirit
The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is available to all believers and freely given to all who ask. It empowers each believer to do the works of Jesus Christ and is evidenced by the manifestation of spiritual gifts. [Acts 2:1-4; Luke 11:13; John 14:12; I Cor. 12:4-11]
The Return of Christ
The Church, as the bride of Christ, will be caught up to meet Jesus in the air at the time appointed by God the Father. [I Thess. 4:16-18; Acts 1:11]
The Purpose of the Church
The Church's purpose is to be God's representative on earth — to bring the Good News of salvation to the lost, to heal the sick, to set the captives free, and to reestablish the Kingdom of God. [II Cor. 5:18-20; Matt. 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-18]
Our Debt of Love to Israel
We owe a great debt of love to the nation of Israel and the Jewish people. It was out of their seed that the world gained the Messiah, Jesus Christ. God has never stopped loving Israel nor removed them from His eternal plan. [Romans 1:16; Romans 11:11, 25-28]
Core Values
We believe the message of God meets the rigorous demands of life through love, grace and acceptance. Our church is devoted to believers and those disconnected from the Creator — each striving towards wholeness through an authentic relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
